Ertugrul Ghazi:
Date of Birth:
- 1-9-1281.
In the book called Câmiü'd-Delve, written by Müneccimbaşı
Derviş Ahmet, there are the following statements: When Kayı Boyu came to
Karacadağ, which is around Ankara, their chief was Kayı Alp. Then they came to
Cabal. Kayı Alp died here. Sarkuk Alp replaced him. And this one died in
Karahöyük around Kırşehir. Gök Alp replaced it. This too died at the Şaraphane
location. Instead, Gündüz Alp crossed and placed the Kayı on its ends. This
also died around Söğüt. Instead, his son became the head of the Ertuğrul tribe
... However, since Ertuğrul Gazi's father is still not certain, it is still
uncertain that Ertuğrul Gazi's father is Süleyman Şah. Since the Ottoman State
is regarded as the continuation of the Anatolian Seljuk State, it is written as
a tribute to Kutalmışoğlu Süleyman Şah, the founder of the Anatolian Seljuk
State, as the ancestor of the Ottomans Süleyman Şah in some historical records.
